What neighborhoods do you work in? How many homes have you sold?
Your agent should be able to easily tell you what neighborhoods they have sold in and are familiar with, as well as how many homes you’ve sold in the area. Our team has experience in Johnston, Wake, Wayne, Harnett, and Cumberland counties and sold over 200 homes in 2018!
How do you plan to market my home?
Every agent should come in with a plan to sell your home! This is a great question to ask your potential realtor and to start a conversation about what the biggest selling features of your home are and how to best highlight them.
Will I be working with you directly or a team?
Some individuals are hesitant to work with a team out of fear that they may be passed around and will not receive the full attention of one individual agent. On our team, you will work primarily with your agent, while also receiving support from our “inside team”: Hollie, our listing coordinator, Maggie, our Marketing Manager, and Tammy, our Closing Coordinator.
What type of communication should I expect from you?
Asking this question helps both you and your agent set expectations for means and frequency of communication regarding your home. Whether you prefer to receive weekly check-ins or more updates,
Are you on social media sites?
Your agent should not just be entering your home into the Multiple Listing Service! Buyers are beginning their search on Facebook, Instagram, and more – so it’s important that your home is showcased there too! We utilize these sites and make sure to stay on top of the latest trends so that we are always in front of potential buyers! You should also see if there is anything else your realtor does to market their homes – from email newsletters to videos or podcasts!
What do you believe will sell this home?
Your realtor should be able to provide you with solid advice and be straightforward in regards to repairs, clutter, or other details. Our team strives to be helpful and honest – we want to exceed your expectations and get your home sold!
